Gareth Thorpe and his team did an excellent job in record time for me this August, 2025. There were 3 different aspects of the work happening all at once in the garden and on the outside street. There was a chimney stack repair to replace the boards up there, very high up. Scaffolding is needed, and then painting the whole pine end of the house. Secondly, repairs to old stone retaining walls. Very tricky and heavy work, marrying the new chunk of wall into the remaining old wall and keeping the hedge above it. Really well done. Thirdly, I wanted a big extension to my old, narrow stone slab patio! On a sloping site!! With 2 manholes and all the underground pipes!! Then cutting stone slabs to fit awkward shapes and manhole covers! The team spirit was great. Extremely clean, neat workers. Never left a mess. Highly recommended. Jane Sparham.
